Brands

The following steps can be done by going to Design › Edit Theme › Pages › Home Page › Home Content Order in your eCom back office.

Adding the Brands section

In Design › Edit Theme › Pages › Home Page › Home Content Order, you will need to assign the Brands option to the sections you want them displayed. If you do not select them as an option for a homepage section, they will not display.

Creating and displaying the brands

In Products › Brands, you will see a list of the brands in your shop. If you need to add a new brand, follow the instructions found here.
Notice: a brand needs to have products attached to it for it to display on the homepage slider.

Adding the brand logo/image

From the list, select the brand you want to add an image for. In order for the brand to be included on the homepage and the brands catalog, make sure Include in Catalog setting is turned ON.

Scroll down to the Image panel and click on Browse Files. This will will pull up your computer’s file directory, where you can upload the image that you want to use.

How to make sure the logos are uniform in size and color

Recommended image size – width: 600px / height: 240px

By default the theme should display the brand images with the same width and height; however, if you are using transparent png files for the logos, you will want to make sure they are similar in how much white space (or blank space) is around the logo.

Uniform logo colors: With the Denver theme, you can also make the logos display in grayscale colors to add another level of design uniformity. This can be done by going to Design › Edit Theme › Pages › Home Page  Brands and turning on the Grayscale brand images setting.
