Category Sidebar Filters

Category Sidebar Filters

The following steps can be done by going to Design › Edit Theme › Pages › Product Listing › Collection Page in your eCom back office.

Displaying the Sidebar Category Filters

By default, the Austin theme displays all categories/subcategories that are set to Visible under Products › Categories.

You'll need to set whether or not you want to show all categories in the side menu (Design › Edit Theme › Pages › Product Listing › Collection Page)

By toggling the Show all categories in side menu setting, you can display the category filters in two ways:
  • Turned ON: All categories and subcategories will be visible no matter what category page you are on
  • Turned OFF: Only the top level categories and the subcategories of the category page that’s being viewed will be visible.
