Text Blocks

The following steps can be done by going to Design › Edit Theme › Pages › Home Page › Text Blocks in your eCom back office.



Text block settings

The options for how to display the text blocks are fairly straightforward.

  • Text blocks count – Choose whether your text blocks are displayed in 2, 3 or 4 columns. The theme will accommodate the chosen option by automatically changing the structure to stay true to your site’s grid (ex: if you choose ‘Two’, the theme will only show Block 1 and Block 2. For ‘Three’ it will also display Block 3 and ‘Four’, all four blocks)
  • Block icon (optional) – Here you have the option of adding an icon or image at the top of each text block. We recommend using thenounproject.com to find icons that work well with the corresponding text.
Recommended dimensions: 75 x 75px
  • Block heading – Enter the heading for each text block (2, 3, or 4)
  • Block subtext – Enter the subtext for each text block
  • Block URL - Enter a URL for each selected block (Optional)
  • Block link text - Enter alternate text for this link (Optional)

Optional display on About/Locations page


You can also choose to display these text blocks on the About/Locations page (this setting is under Design › Edit Theme › General › Advanced › About & Locations
