Customer Service Widget


The following steps can be done by going to Design › Edit Theme › Pages › Product Details › Customer Service Widget in your eCom back office.

In this section, you have the ability to edit the title, subtext and icon for the customer service widget, a unique feature of the Austin theme that allows you to create a call-to-action for your customers to get in touch with your staff. This has been proven to help conversions by addressing questions or concerns that would otherwise lead to people abandoning their carts.

Show or Disable the Product Customer Service Widget



The Product customer service widget can be enabled/disabled by turning the toggle switch on/off for the field titled Product customer service.

Widget Settings

  • Customer service icon: upload a transparent .png icon to help the widget stand out. The Noun Project is a great library for finding icons and symbols.
Recommended file size is 100px x 100px
  • Customer service title: the title for the product customer service widget
  • Customer service subtext: the subtext for the product customer service widget
  • Customer service bottom text: this is the text shown on the left side of the bottom area. It should be be no more than 30 characters.
  • Customer service bottom link: this is the link text that will display on the right side of the bottom area. Keep this short as well (~20 characters).
  • Customer service bottom URL: this is where the link will lead to if clicked. We recommend entering /service here to link to the customer service page, which will have the contact form and contact details.
